The 29er is a SWEET ride. To me, it is a more comfortable ride and seems to roll and maintain speed better. Just like everything else the 29er has its pros and cons. The biggest draw backs that I have noticed is that it is a little slower on tight turns/switch backs. It really depends on the course. I've been riding my 29er SS for almost a full season now. The 29er is very fast on flowing trails like Dauset, Ft. Yargo and especially the downhills of the Pinhotis. It is a little sluggish on tight trails like Columbus and Macon. Don't knock it till you try it. You may get hooked.
